A Day in the Life as an Accounts Payable Specialist: Mostly high-volume data entry and cabinet filing of paper records. Ensure that all accounts payable related documents such as invoices and receipts are accurately coded and processed. Verify, process, and reconcile vendor invoices and payments timely and accurately. Handle vendor inquiries via email and/or phone call. Maintain and manage all accounts payable records. Ensure all accounts payable transactions comply with the company's policies and procedures. Ad-hoc reporting on workload for management.
- Attention to detail including accuracy in reporting and strong analytical skills.
- Proficient within a Windows environment, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent communication skills; written, and verbal.
- Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced growing organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Required: High School Diploma.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
- Required: Proficiency in all Microsoft applications.
